Placing Orders:

May thru October Please place orders  14 days prior to the date you will want to pick up your goodies to avoid  the rush order fee of 25%.

November thru April Please place orders 10 days prior to the date you will be picking up your goodies.

What are your available pick up times ?

Monday-Friday: 8:30-3:00 or 3:30-5:30pm,
Saturday:8-11am,
Sunday closed.

How do I place an order?

You can call, email, or facebook me with your order.  All the info you will need is under the Contacts button of this website.  I  prefer okoboji123@msn.com.  I can get back to you at any time of day and  have a reference to look back on to double check your order.  All ways  are acceptable though.

Do you customize for dietary restrictions?
I can do most flavors in a  gluten free version and all can have a dairy free option.  

Do you have a store front?

I do not have a store.  This is a home based business.  You can place an order and pick it up with at least a weeks notice.

What methods of payment do you accept?

I prefer cash, check, or Venmo. 

How much is delivery?

Delivery is $20 for on cake drop off within a 5 mile radius of Playful Cupcaketions,  Spirit Lake. 

Delivery outside of the area is $.95/mile, which helps compensate for our time, wear-and-tear, and gas expenses.  

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

Placing your order as soon as  you know you need a cake is the best.  No matter if it is months in  advance. I suggest at least a two weeks notice.  Anything under a week  will have a rush order fee of 25% added to the bill; if I can fit you in.

Can I make a change to my order?
Changes can be made to your order 2 weeks before the pick up date.  Just remember that  I am in a small community and I may need to order an item to make the  change.

Do I need to make a deposit?

All orders over $100 require a non-refundable deposit of $50  this deposit will be credited to your order.

How much does a cake cost?

You can find cake costs and servings under the "cake prices".

*An example of a tiered cake costs:

2 tier=$70 (38 Wedding sized servings)

3 tier= $150 (87 servings)

4 tier= $250 (143 servings)

Do I get a discount for a larger order?

I try to keep my pricing low for everyone so I don't offer a discount for large orders. 

Do you ship?

Sorry, I do not ship.  The cost  of packaging and shipping over night is so much more then the cupcakes  themselves.  Plus it would probably give me a heart attach worrying  about them in the shipping process.

Can I supply a picture of the cake I would like?

I love to see pictures of the cake you are wanting me to duplicate. 

Can I have you make my own recipe?

I would be honored to use your own recipe.  As long as you don't mind me with your family secret. 

I have a cake flavor in mind that you don't have listed, do you customize?
I love to try new things.  I can  try to make a cake in any flavor your heart desires.Just as long as I  have enough notice to make sure I can get the ingredients needed.
